She's one of the most popular und succesful female icons of the 80s - thanks to classics like 'Kids In America', 'Chequered Love', 'Cambodia', 'The Second Time (Go For It)', 'You Keep Me Hangin' On', 'Never Trust A Stranger' or 'You Came' and her distinctive voice and look. During the 90ies, her career as a singer was on hiatus for a while, yet in 2003 she returned to both stage and charts with a stunning duet along with German pop idol NENA called 'Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime'. In 2014, Kim was part of the very successful ROCK MEETS CLASSIC ensemble (one of our headlining acts of 2015), and in 2016, she was supposed to be part of the ROCK OF AGES summer open air programme. Unfortunately, her and her band's flight got cancelled on short note and she couldn't make it to her appearance. So after all, 2017 will now be the year for Kim Wilde to join the Sunday line up of our upcoming ROCK OF AGES festival edition!
