It’s already been a while since LORDI has graced us with their voices at the [custom:fstlng] Summer Open Air. Finally the Finns in creepy costumes surrounding lead singer and chief monster Mr. Lordi are coming back on stage in the idyllic Seebronn. With currently 12 released studio albums and their latest, not yet released but already announced new creation “Screen Writers Guild”, LORDI is a band that can be oriented along the greats of rock and hard rock. Even more than with their music however, LORDI attracts attention with their spectacular stage outfits which have all been designed and tailored by Mr. Lordi himself. International fame and a guaranteed cult status have been achieved by LORDI at the latest in 2006, when they won the Eurovision Song Contest for Finland with their hit single “Hard Rock Hallelujah”. A spectacular success, when we consider that LORDI have been the first Finnish and hard-rock band that ever won this international contest.
