One of the most veteran German hard rock bands is coming to ROCK OF AGES ROCK OF AGES 2023: MAD MAX. After their self-titled debut in 1982, the classic line-up got together until 1985 and caused an international sensation with the albums 'Stormchild' and 'Night Of Passion': Michael Voss, Jürgen Breforth, Roland Bergmann and Axel Kruse. In 2011, this very quartet started to work together again and released the comeback album 'Another Night Of Passion' in 2012.
Since then MAD MAX - meanwhile with Thomas "Hutch" Bauer on bass - have been constantly active again and seem to add a little energy from album to album. On 'Interceptor' they gave “Full throttle from start to finish!”, 'Thunder, Storm And Passion' presented - alongside excellent new recordings of various band classics - a recording of the great MAD MAX performance at BANG YOUR HEAD !!! 2014, '35' thrilled the fans with new melodic hard rock gems on the occasion of the 35th anniversary, and in 2020 the next studio album was due.
